Shaw to push for United move

Southampton left-back Luke Shaw has reportedly told the club that he would like to join Manchester United in the off-season. According to the BBC, the teenager told the Saints' bosses of his desire to join the Red Devils at a function following the two team's 1-1 draw at the St Mary's Stadium in May. However, the club have stated they will not be letting any players leave until a new manager has been appointed, putting the brakes on a potential transfer. For his part though, it appears Shaw has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford, and with a £27million offer already having been made for the England international, it seems the switch is now a matter of 'when' not 'if'.
