Sharon Stone shares video of sister struggling to breathe amid coronavirus battle: 'Wear a mask please'

Sharon Stone has shared a video of her sister Kelly demonstrating how difficult she found breathing with suffering from COVID-19.

The Basic Instinct star's sibling urged people to get behind mask wearing and increased testing as she spoke from hospital.

Kelly said in the footage which saw her wearing a nasal cannula: "I beg you to know that this is real, I'm gasping for every breath without oxygen. Please do this for the people that you love stand behind more tests, more masks, demanding everyone wear a mask.

"You never, ever want to feel like this I promise you. I only have love in my heart but it is breaking for people that can't breathe."

The footage was originally shared by Kelly who wrote: "Please listen with love". Meanwhile, Sharon told her Instagram followers: "Wear a mask please."

It comes after the actor star asked for prayers for her sibling at the weekend while sharing photos of her hospital room.

“One of you non-mask wearers did this. She does not have an immune system," Sharon commented as she explained Kelly also has lupus, a long-term autoimmune disease causing inflammation to the joints, skin and other organs.

Kelly's husband Bruce Singer is also currently hospitalised with coronavirus.

Last week, Kelly posted a picture of herself alongside her spouse prior to their hospitalisation explaining they had managed to contract the virus even while keeping their distance from public places.

"This is us. March 13. Drove to our paradise in Montana. We thought covid wouldn’t and couldn’t find us. No shopping, no parties, barely saw a human. Now fighting for a breath.you don’t want covid," she wrote.
