San Jose made a slew of roster moves today as Ty Dellandrea was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury. In the second period of Thursday's game, Dellandrea was hit in the head by Nashville Predators forward Cole Smith and did not return. Smith was assessed a match penalty.
The Sharks recalled Scott Sabouin from the 'Cuda in a corresponding move. Sabouin played three games with the Sharks last season and spent all 24-25 with the Barracuda. In 35 games, Sabouin has five goals, eight assists and 48 PIMs.
