The San Jose Sharks are taking on one of the NHL's best teams, the Winnipeg Jets, and coach Ryan Warsofsky has changed his lineup.

Ty Dellandrea missed a couple of games earlier in the season due to an upper-body injury, but until tonight, he hadn't been a healthy scratch.

Carl Grundstrom will return to the Sharks lineup and play on the fourth line with Nico Sturm and Luke Kunin.

"Carl, I think he's one of our better forecheck players. He can get on, guys. He's physical. He usually comes down to a play without the puck, and he's making sure he's responsible defensively," Warsofsky said. "Especially our fourth line, [they] can't get scored on. You know, that's a big key for us."

As for why Dellandrea is sitting out:

"Just a little bit of a reset. I wouldn't say he's playing horrible by any means. I think there's some consistency issues. He knows that. We've talked about it. I think he's going to be a really good player for us in the long run," Warsofsky explained. "I really like him as his character. What he gives for our team, he gives you everything he's got. He's learning a new system. So, there have been some ups and downs in his game, but I think you know this. I don't think this will be a long-term thing. I think again, sometimes it's good for a player to sit up top and watch and see how slow the game is from a different view, and hopefully, that will help him in the long run."

Dellandrea has one goal and three assists in 29 games this season. He was acquired from the Dallas Stars this past offseason.
