The Sharks have placed William Eklund on injured reserve to create a roster spot for Graf. Due to injuries, Jake Walman and Carl Grundstrom will also miss the game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Graf was signed out of Quinnipiac at the end of the 23-24 season. In seven NHL games, the forward had two assists. He spent the offseason getting stronger and utilizing his NHL facilities to his advantage to develop his game further. With the season he is having with the Cuda, it seems to have worked.

Eklund and Walman returned to the ice after the San Jose Sharks practiced yesterday, signaling they are moving closer to a return. Eklund was injured on Dec. 23 and will be retroactive to then, meaning starting tomorrow, he is eligible to be activated from IR.

Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky will meet with the media before tonight's game, which will confirm whether Graf will make his season debut or not.
