Sharks Players Thrilled To Have Their Fathers Along For A Road Trip
When the San Jose Sharks visit the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, the players' fathers will join them and watch the game as fans.
The dads began the week by attending Monday night's 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Macklin Celebrini scored his 16th goal of the season for the game-winner.

Celebrini has told reporters that Sidney Crosby was his favorite player growing up, and to score in the same game as him in front of his dad is something he's dreamt of his entire life.
"It's amazing. Anytime you get to play against him, it's just a really unique experience and a cool experience. [It's] something I dreamed of when I was a kid playing with my brother in the basement, pretending to be [Crosby]," Celebrini said. "It's awesome to have all the dads around. I got to meet plenty of them, and it's cool to see the similarities between the dad and the kid."
Defenseman Henry Thrun re-lived his childhood after his dad, David, asked for a stick post-practice.
"I was playing pass with my dad on the ice after practice, and I haven't done that with him, probably since he was my coach when we were seven years old," Thrun told THN. "It's pretty cool to be able to be on the ice with him and do something as trivial and as simple as playing pass."

Ty Dellandrea, currently on injured reserve, will join the team in Seattle but won't play. His father is here and will accompany him.
"I think it's one of the coolest things that this sport does. All teams do it with the mothers and the fathers," Warsofsky said. "These players start skating at 2-3-4 years old. You're going to the cold rinks in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Boston at 6:30 in the morning and getting your tying your kid's skates. Now they're here. Now they're the highest league in the world, the best league in the world, and they get to share this."
