Sharks Lose Celebrini & Preseason Game; Utah HC Wins 3-1
The San Jose Sharks lost 3-1 to Utah HC, and No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini left the game with a lower-body injury.

Celebrini slid hard into the boards during the second period and only played one more shift before heading to the locker room. During the second intermission, the team announced that the centerman would not return with a lower-body injury.

Matt Benning scored for the Sharks, and Mackenzie Blackwood made 22 saves.
Utah scored twice through Kailer Yamamoto, and Sean Durzi netted the other. Connor Ingram made 19 saves.
