Sevilla announce pair of contract renewals

La Liga outfit Sevilla have on Thursday announced the contract renewals of two members of the club’s playing ranks.

The pair in question? Alberto Flores and Ramón Martínez.

Goalkeeper Flores, for his part, acted as the third-choice between the posts at The Ramón Sánchez–Pizjuán this past season.

The 20-year-old was afforded his senior bow back in January, in a Copa del Rey meeting with Getafe.

He has extended his terms with Sevilla through the summer of 2027.

Turning attentions towards Martínez, the defender, also a product of the academy setup in Andalusia, spent this past season building a reputation for himself as a star performer with Sevilla Atlético.

His endeavours, en route to 33 appearances all told, drew widespread acclaim, enough to earn the 21-year-old a new three-year contract, too.

Both players, it is added, will take their places in the first-team setup of new Nervionenses head coach Xavi García Pimienta for pre-season.
