Seth Jarvis, Jaccob Slavin Named To 4 Nations Face-Off Rosters
The official rosters for the four 4 Nations Face-Off roster were announced on Wednesday and it was revealed that three Carolina Hurricanes will be representing their countries at the tournament.
Sebastian Aho was already named as one of the first six members of Team Finland, and in addition, Jaccob Slavin was named to Team USA and Seth Jarvis was named to Team Canada.
Slavin, 30, is one of the most prominent defensive defensemen in the entire NHL and he'll be joining a stacked USA blueline.
Team USA is a potential favorite to win the tournament and a big reason why is the blueline and goaltending.

Jarvis, 22, is a rising star in the league and his ability to play up and down the lineup and in every situation makes him a valuable piece.
The young stud will have the chance to play with the likes of Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon and it's pretty cool to see Jarvis getting the opportunity especially with him being the youngest player on the roster.
As pointed out by Hurricanes Vice President of Communications, Mike Sundheim, Jarvis was cut from the 2021 World Juniors roster and now he's representing his country in a major tournament and none of those players are.
Talk about a meteoric rise.
Four years ago, Seth Jarvis was one of the final cuts from Canada’s 2021 World Juniors roster. Today, he was named to Canada’s roster for the 4 Nations - one of the top 23 Canadian players in the NHL.

Jesperi Kotkaniemi did not make Team Finland despite a strong start to the year and former Hurricanes Teuvo Teravainen (Finland), Adam Fox (USA), Jake Guentzel (USA), Noah Hanifin (USA), Elias Lindholm (Sweden) and Gustav Forsling (Sweden) will all be at the tournament.
The 4 Nations Face-Off will take place from Feb. 12 through Feb. 20 and will feature a round-robin tournament between the USA, Canada, Sweden and Finland. The top two teams from the round-robin will then face off in a winner-take all championship.
