Serie A: Torino vs. Juventus: Probable line-ups and where to watch
Juventus return to Serie A action with a Derby della Mole away against city rivals Torino on Saturday afternoon, following a disappointing return in the Supercoppa Italiana in Riyadh last week, where Thiago Motta’s side lost 2-1 against Milan in the semi-finals on Sergio Conceicao’s debut.
It is a case of one in and two out for Thiago Motta on Saturday, as Juve are expected to welcome Nico Gonzalez back into the starting line-up, but there will be no Dusan Vlahovic or Francisco Conceicao: The pair have been training separately in the build-up to the derby.
With a shortage at full-back as well, the versatile Weston McKennis is expected to continue in his new-found position at left-back, likely in a back four with Nicolo Savona, Federico Gatti and Pierre Kalulu.
There have been suggestions in the press that Nico Gonzalez is set to feature as a false nine, with Kenan Yildiz, Teun Koopmeiners and Samuel Mbangula in the supporting roles behind or alongside him.
Torino, meanwhile, are expected to name a similar team to the one that drew 0-0 with Parma last time out in Serie A.
Che Adams and Yann Karamoh are expected to lead the line for the Granata.
Kick-off is due at 17.00 GMT.
