A full midweek round of Serie A fixtures brought plenty of changes to the table, as Juventus slipped out of the top four and down into sixth, while Napoli protected their lead at the top of the table after a comfortable win away against Milan in San Siro.

Napoli have a four-point lead at the top of the Serie A table after their 2-0 win away against Milan. Antonio Conte’s side looked comfortable for the vast majority of proceedings, and were rarely threatened by a depleted Rossoneri line-up that did not feature Theo Hernandez, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic or Rafael Leao.

Inter made sure that Napoli did not extend their lead any further by recording a 3-0 victory away against Empoli, largely thanks to Davide Frattesi’s brace from midfield.

Juventus had been third at the beginning of the week, but have been overtaken by three different sides after their 2-2 draw at home with Parma.

Atalanta grabbed a 2-0 win over Monza, which has sent Gian Piero Gasperini’s men into third, Fiorentina beat Genoa 1-0 away from home to move up to fourth, Lazio starred in the game of the round, beating Como 5-1 away to go up to fifth, which leaves Juventus in sixth on 18 points from 10 games.

Udinese remain in seventh place, despite losing 3-2 away to Venezia, although Milan, are two points behind them with a game in hand in eighth place.

Torino sit in 10th on 14 points from 10 games. They lost 1-0 to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday evening, which has pushed the Giallorossi back into the top half of the table, sitting in 10th with 13 points.
