Serie A line-ups: Juventus vs. Milan
Juventus only have Dusan Vlahovic fit for the bench, but start Manchester City target Andrea Cambiaso against a Milan side with Rafael Leao and Tammy Abraham.
It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 17.00 GMT.
Both sides are struggling this season and want to claw their way back into the top four, but while Juve continue to string together stalemates, Milan were revitalised by winning the Supercoppa Italiana under new coach Sergio Conceicao.
That included a comeback 2-1 victory over Juve in the semi-final to start 2025.
Francisco Conceicao is still out injured along with Arkadiusz Milik, Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, while Vlahovic is only fit for the bench.
Nico Gonzalez is therefore the centre-forward again with support from Teun Koopmeiners and Kenan Yildiz.
Cambiaso starts, despite being the subject of a reported massive offer from Manchester City.
Milan are decimated too, as Alvaro Morata is suspended against his old club, with Christian Pulisic, Malick Thiaw, Samuel Chukwueze, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Noah Okafor and Alessandro Florenzi injured.
Abraham therefore leads the attack with Rafael Leao and Tijjani Reijnders, plus Ismael Bennacer returning to midfield.
Fikayo Tomori starts against what could be his next club, potentially following in the footsteps of Pierre Kalulu.
