Serie A: Juventus vs Napoli – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Scott McTominay is expected to start for Napoli against Juventus, while Nicolò Savona could replace Federico Gatti.
It kicks off at 18:00 CET (16:00 GMT) at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Juventus defender Gatti was forced off the pitch due to an ankle issue during the Bianconeri’s 3-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday, but has since recovered, as coach Thiago Motta said he’ll be “available” in his pre-match press conference yesterday.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Gatti is not fully fit yet, which is why Motta could consider moving Pierre Kalulu in the centre-back position and start Savona as a right-back.
Francisco Conceiçao and Arkadiusz Milik are the only unavailable players for the Old Lady, while Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie look set to start again in midfield, as the former Bologna manager seems willing to reconfirm the starting line-up fielded on their Champions League debut.
On the other hand, coach Antonio Conte could make a few tweaks after Napoli’s 4-0 win over Cagliari last week. According to Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport, Scotland international McTominay will start his first Serie A match, pushing Pasquale Mazzocchi or Matteo Politano to the bench.
Mathias Olivera is favourite over Leonardo Spinazzola for a starting spot on the left flank.
Napoli picked up nine points from their first four Serie A games, just one more than a Juventus side that has yet to concede a league goal this season.
