Serie A: Inter vs Torino – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is considering making a single change from the starting line-up fielded in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A last round, as they prepare to host an in-form Torino.
It kicks off at 20.45 CET (18.45 GMT) at San Siro in Milan.
While Inzaghi opted to make heavy rotations against Red Star in the Champions League, including starting Marko Arnautovic and Medhi Taremi up front, both Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta dello Sport report that he’d be ready to switch back to the team that secured a 3-2 win over Udinese last weekend, with Benjamin Pavard potentially replacing Yan Bisseck at the back as the only change.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco are all expected to take their places back after starting on the bench mid-week, and Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez should compose the attacking pair, with the latter coming off three goals scored in his last two appearances.
Paolo Vanoli’s Torino will be eager to bounce back after suffering their first Serie A against Lazio, although they still remained 5th in the standings and the Granata coach could rely on an in-form Ché Adams to do so, as the Scotland international has already found the net three times in six league games.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is expected to make his return in Torino’s goal, while Vanoli seems torn on whether to give Borna Sosa a second consecutive chance from the start, with Marcus Pedersen ready to replace him.
