Serie A: Inter vs. Bologna – Confirmed line-ups
Marcus Thuram is back in the Inter starting line-up and will partner captain Lautaro Martinez in attack for the Nerazzurri when they take on Bologna in Serie A on Wednesday night.
You can follow the action from tonight’s game on the Football Italia Liveblog.
Tonight’s game is a rearranged fixture, which was originally due to take place during the 19th round of Serie A fixtures. It was postponed due to Inter’s commitments in the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia earlier in the month.
The return of Thuram is a boost for Simone Inzaghi, but the Nerazzurri coach still has a few injury issues to contest with.
There is no Hakan Calhanoglu or Henrikh Mkhitaryan in tonight’s squad due to injury, so Kristjan Asllani and Piotr Zielinski partner Nicolo Barella in a previously untried midfield combination.
There is also another start for Matteo Darmian in the back three, as Yann Aurel Bisseck misses out.
Bologna, meanwhile, have made a handful of changes following their 2-2 draw against Roma last time out. Nicolo Casale replaces Jhon Lucumi at centre-back, Charalampos Lykogiannis replaces Juan Miranda at left-back, Nikola Moro is in for Lewis Ferguson in midfield .
There is also a return for Riccardo Orsolini, who starts in place of Benja Dominguez, while a straight swap up front sees Santiago Castro come back into the team to replace Thijs Dallinga.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
