When The Senators Play The Way They Have The Past Two Games, Buy Into The Hype

If you listened closely enough to Ottawa Senators coach Travis Green and veteran goalie Linus Ullmark, you can catch hints of what both of them thought of this team prior to coming to Ottawa this season.

Their assessment: the Senators are a young and wildly skilled team that had a lot of maturity issues. Those are coming along, which could be some very bad news for other teams in the NHL.

All you have to do is watch their past two games - a 3-2 overtime win over Boston on the weekend and a 3-0 clinic over the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night - to see what this team is capable of accomplishing when it is well prepared and focused on the task at hand.
