“We will see” – Manager opens door for Chelsea to complete signing of top transfer target
A manager has seemingly opened the door for Chelsea to go ahead and complete the signing of a player described as a ‘top target.’
It’s a strange ‘top target’ for Chelsea though when you consider the actual positions they need to bring players in, which is the spine of the team. But even still, it is the player that Chelsea are apparently chasing the most right now, and is the most dramatic transfer situation that seems to be bubbling up in the final days of the window over any other situations that could occur.

There is time left of course, so we might see some more drama or a new target appear out of nowhere if Chelsea are trying to keep it quiet. But the longer time goes on, the less likely it seems that we are going to any other big arrivals come to Chelsea this month.
They seem to oddly be chasing a deal to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, who is not a bad player, but is a player who plays in a position that should not be a priority for Chelsea to sign in this window. Maybe in the summer, but not now.
Amorim speaks on Garnacho
As picked up by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has spoken out about the rumours.
He says: “He’s here, he’s playing for Man United and we will see in the next days.
“I think he has the potential to be so much better in every situation of the game. What I can say is he understood what I was trying to do. I just want to help them but in the end it’s them who do the job.”
The whole ‘we will see’ comment always opens the door for the departure to happen. If he was staying and not up for sale, then that is what the manager would be saying.
