See kids hunt eggs in one of Sacramento’s longstanding public Easter traditions

More than a hundred kids and their families hopped over to the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento to celebrate Easter on a sunshine-filled Sunday with pancakes and plastic eggs.
There were 6,000 eggs to find — most with candy but some with other surprises that could yield a backpack, golf club or stuffed Easter bunny. The busy egg hunters had full bellies for their job — over 1,300 pancakes were served at the event, which has been held at the golf course for more than 25 years.
