The Kansas City Royals are one step closer to making it to the World Series.
A 2-1 victory against the Orioles in Baltimore in the American League Wild Card series gave the Royals a 2-0 lead in the series meaning the Orioles are out and the Royals are advancing to play in the American League Divisional Series . They’ll be taking on the New York Yankees in a best-of-five games series starting Saturday in New York. The first series game in Kansas City will happen Wednesday at Kauffman Stadium.
