Seattle Kraken Recall Gustav Olofsson And Ben Meyers
The Seattle Kraken announced they have recalled forward Ben Meyers and defenseman Gustav Olofsson from the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Meyers is tied for the Firebirds team lead in goals with nine and leads the team in points with 19 in 22 games.
The 26-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Kraken on July 1st. He recorded 25 points in 32 games with the Colorado Eagles and three points over 23 games split between the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks last season.
Olofsson has two goals and 11 points in 27 games in this third season with the franchise.
The 30-year-old originally joined the Kraken organization on a one-way, two-year contract in 2021. He had 12 points in 51 games with the Firebirds last season.

With Jordan Eberle on injured reserve and the Kraken on a three-game losing streak there is a decent chance we see both Olofsson and Meyers appear in a game for the Kraken.
Seattle plays the Vegas Golden Knights tonight and Colorado Avalanche tomorrow.
