Henman and Brouillard cleared waivers, allowing them to be assigned to the Firebirds for training camp.

A product of Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., Brouillard spent last season playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack, collecting five goals and adding 31 assists for 36 points in 70 regular season games. He also added two assists in ten playoff games.

Having turned pro in 2020, Brouillard has suited up for the Wolf Pack and the San Diego Gulls, putting up a total of 128 points in 238 career AHL regular season games.

Hailing from Dartmouth, N.S., Henman has suited up for the Firebirds in each of the past two seasons. In 2023-24, he scored seven goals and added seven assists for 14 points in 45 regular season games. Henman saw time with the Firebirds in the playoffs as well, collecting four points in 14 games.

As both players head to the AHL, they will each play a big role for the Firebirds this upcoming season. Brouillard has proven to be an offensive threat at the AHL level and Henman is a reliable player who can play at both ends of the ice.
