For someone who has overcome so much adversity in his career, Monahan plays the game with remarkable calmness and poise. He has been a leader for a Blue Jackets team missing their captain and facing their own challenges.
It’s heartwarming to see the good guys win sometimes. That’s what we’re witnessing here. Monahan is an incredible human being, and he’s getting another chance to prove that injuries won’t define his career.
Congrats Monahan!
What's Next - The Blue Jackets are in Boston tonight to face the Bruins for the third and final time this season.
