Sea Dogs Sign US-Born Forward Krayer

The Saint John Sea Dogs have announced that they have signed their 14th round pick from the 2024 QMJHL Draft, centerman Matthew Krayer.

Krayer, 16, had 59 points (23+36) across 35 games with the prestigious Mount St. Charles 16U AAA program, which has seen notable players like Boston Bruins draft pick Chris Pelosi, Ottawa Senators draft pick Cameron O'Neill and Cape Breton Eagles player Cole Burbidge rise through its ranks.

The 5-foot-10 centerman will be first eligible for the NHL draft in 2027, thanks to his October birthdate, He isn't affiliated with any NCAA program as of yet.
