Sea Dogs Sign OHL Draft Pick, Star CCHL Defender Lumsden
The #SJSeaDogs have signed 17-year-old defenceman John Lumsden to a QMJHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Lumsden, 17, had 29 points (2+27) over 31 games with the Nepean Raiders of the CCHL. The 5-foot-9 blueliner attended the Sea Dogs training camp this summer but returned to the Nepean Raiders.
He's a former 2023 14th round pick in the OHL draft by his hometown Ottawa 67's. However, Lumsden has a familiarity with region as his mom is from the city. and the family would spend their summers in town.
The defender has no NCAA affiliation as of yet.
