The Scottish Premiership weekend card is cut to four fixtures - three on Saturday and one the following day - as Celtic and Rangers do battle in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup final.

But, with Aberdeen idle, it gives the rest the chance to narrow the gap on the top three.

Here is the latest team news.

All kick-offs 15:00, Saturday unless stated.

Hibernian v Ross County

Hibernian's Mykola Kuharevich will miss out with a groin strain, while fellow forward Kieron Bowie and centre-half Marvin Ekpiteta remain longer-term absentees.

Aidan Denholm, the on-loan Heart of Midlothian midfielder, Barnsley loanee Kacper Lopata, fellow centre-half Ricki Lamie and midfielder Max Sheaf have returned to training with Ross County and will be assessed.

However, defender Will Nightingale is behind them in his quest for fitness and may not return to full training until the end of the month.

Motherwell v Dundee United

On-loan striker Tony Watt drops out of the Motherwell squad against his parent club, but right-back Stephen O'Donnell is available to start after a hamstring injury.

Tom Sparrow, Ross Callachan, Paul McGinn, Callum Slattery, Jack Vale and Zach Robinson remain out.

United's Will Ferry is suspended, but fellow wide player Kristijan Trapanovski has returned to training and could be involved.

Ross Docherty and Craig Sibbald are still absent.

St Johnstone v St Mirren

St Johnstone have centre-half Bozo Mikulic and Andre Raymond back, but fellow left-back Barry Douglas remains out, as do long-term absentees Uche Ikpeazu, Cammy MacPherson and Sam McClelland.

The suspended Alex Gogic drops out for St Mirren, but fellow centre-half Alex Iacovitti could return.

Charles Dunne remains out with a hamstring problem.

Kilmarnock v Heart of Midlothian (Sun)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes hopes to have winger Matty Kennedy, midfielder Liam Donnelly and goalkeeper Robby McCrorie available.

Long-term absentee Stuart Findlay is the only player ruled out.

Hearts striker and captain Lawrence Shankland is suspended and centre-half Frankie Kent looks almost certain to miss out after aggravating a quad injury against Copenhagen.

Midfielder Beni Baningime is a doubt and both defender Stephen Kingsley and midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof remain out with hamstring injuries.
