Scenes From The Capitals' Hockey Fights Cancer Skate

ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals hit the ice for a good cause on Monday, skating with children and families affected by cancer at their annual Hockey Fights Cancer skate.

Alex Ovechkin, Tom Wilson, Dylan Strome and all the Capitals came together after an optional practice to spend some time with young kids and families, lacing up their skates before joining them on the ice.

The children are either undergoing treatment for cancer or are in remission, and they are affiliated with nonprofits across the Washington, D.C. region.
