Lazio have now switched focus to alternative targets and one of these is Lauriente, who is available in a low-cost deal following Sassuolo’s relegation to Serie B. The 25-year-old impressed last season, scoring five goals and providing six assists across 37 league matches.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio have agreed contract terms with Lauriente following a round of talks, willing to give up a circa €600,000 raise to his current €1 million wages at Sassuolo.
The Biancocelesti now have to reach an agreement with the Neroverdi, who have set a €15 million price tag. The Roman club will make their first offer soon, willing to pay around €11-12 million plus add-ons.
