Everybody knew Saquon Barkley was the player the Washington Commanders most needed to stop in the NFC Championship. The Commanders knew it, fans knew it, yours truly knew it, even casual bettors knew it.

Barkley's prop bets were the most popular markets at BetMGM ahead of Sunday's game between the Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Once the game started, though, Washington was absolutely helpless to what everybody knew was coming. Barkley broke his first carry of the game 60 yards for a touchdown, cashing several of those bets in one single play.

Barkley was the most bet player to score a TD at -225 odds at BetMGM and the most-bet player to score the first TD of the game at +350. The over on his longest-rush prop of 23.5 yards was the most popular non-TD bet. He cashed all three props on that one run.

Barkley wasn't done after that. He scored on his second touch of the game too, taking a carry four yards for a touchdown on Philadelphia's next possession. His odds to score twice were +260 at BetMGM.
