Sane ‘100% committed’ to Bayern despite Arsenal links
Leroy Sane remains ‘100% committed’ to Bayern Munich despite speculation surrounding a potential move to Arsenal.
Sane’s contract at Bayern expires at the end of the season and the winger has so far failed to agree terms on an extension.
Arsenal are understood to be watching his situation closely with Mikel Arteta considering a move to bring the German back to the Premier League. Arteta worked with Sane during his time at Manchester City and is open to a reunion with the player in North London.
Bayern are open to agreeing terms on a new contract with the 28-year-old but are requesting Sane takes a cut of between €2m-€4m on his current salary. Despite those demands, Sky Germany are reporting that there is optimism at the Allianz Arena that terms can be agreed.
A move in the January transfer window has been ruled out with Sane ‘100% committed’ to a successful season at Bayern, who lead the Bundesliga after an unbeaten start to the league season in Germany.
Sane has scored 51 goals in 183 games for the Bavarians since arriving from Manchester City in a €45m deal in 2020.
