San Diego Gulls Defenseman Roland McKeown Suspended Three Games
The American Hockey League’s Player Safety Committee has announced that San Diego Gulls defenseman Roland McKeown has been suspended three games.
The official release from the AHL states McKeown has been suspend three games "as a consequence of his actions following Sunday's game at Coachella Valley."
The 28-year-old was assessed a Category III 10 minute game misconduct penalty for physical abuse of officials after the Firebirds won the game in overtime.

McKeown has eight goals and 19 points in 32 games with San Diego this season while serving as an assistant captain.
He will miss games on Jan. 8 against the Iowa Wild, and Jan. 10 and Jan. 11 against the Tucson Roadrunners.
