Sampdoria appoint Leonardo Semplici as head coach ahead of Roma Coppa Italia clash
Sampdoria have officially announced the appointment of Leonardo Semplici as their new head coach.
After the 5-1 defeat at home to Sassuolo, Sampdoria has opted for a change on the bench.
Andrea Sottil, in fact, is no longer the coach of the Blucerchiati.
In his place comes the former SPAL and Cagliari manager Leonardo Semplici.
On Thursday 18, at 9:00 p.m., the Coppa Italia round of 16 tie will be played at the Stadio Olimpico against Ranieri’s Roma.
