Saelemaekers set to become Roma’s new starter in the next few games

After making his first starting appearance since mid-September on Saturday night vs Lecce, Alexis Saelemaekers is expected to continue being relied upon by Claudio Ranieri.

The Belgian winger represents a precious resource for the veteran technician who immediately took a liking to him and played him whenever he’s had the chance in recent games.

According to Corriere dello Sport, it is very difficult for Ranieri to give up the Belgian in the next matches.

Braga on Thursday, then Como and Parma in the league – all games in which Saelemaekers is predicted to appear from the start, pushing the likes of Nicola Zalewski back to the bench.
