Sabres Trade Defenseman To Penguins For Prospect
The Buffalo Sabres have traded defenseman Colton Poolman to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Bennett MacArthur.

Poolman, 29, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sabres during this past off-season. The East Grand Forks, Minnesota native appeared in five AHL games for the Rochester Americans this season, where he had one assist.
MacArthur, 23, is a forward prospect who has spent the entirety of this season down in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers. In 28 ECHL games on the season, he has three goals, seven points, and a plus-2 rating.
The Penguins have acquired defenseman Colton Poolman from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for forward Bennett MacArthur.
Poolman is signed through the 2024.25 campaign and will report to @WBSPenguins of the AHL.
