Rasmus Dahlin is a significant reason for the Sabres' recent success, as he is simply dominating right now. After posting a four-assist night against the Islanders, he had two assists against the Blackhawks. With this, he has made some team history in the process.

According to Buffalo Sabres PR, Dahlin was the first Sabres player to have at least six assists over a two-game span since Brian Campbell (Oct. 11 to Oct. 13, 2007). In addition, Dahlin became just the third Sabre to accomplish this feat since 1995, joining Campbell and Maxim Afinogenov.

Due to his incredible hot stretch of play, Dahlin now has six goals, 25 points, and a plus-10 rating in 28 games this campaign. It will be fascinating to see how he builds on it from here.
