Sabres Star Forward Is Right Back To Dominating
Buffalo Sabres star forward Tage Thompson's goal is to have a bounce-back season in 2024-25. So far, he is well on his way to having just that, and he is not showing any signs of slowing down in the process.

Thompson had another excellent game in the Sabres' latest matchup against the Dallas Stars. The 6-foot-6 center scored a goal and added an assist in the Sabres' big 4-2 win.
With this strong performance, Thompson has now extended his current point streak to five games. In addition, the star forward has five goals and eight points over his last seven games.
With his assist on Thompson's goal, Alex Tuch has now recorded eight points (2+6) in his last seven games, including four points (2+2) in his last three home contests and one point in each of his last two games (1+1).

Seeing Thompson get back to producing like his old self is immensely encouraging. If the Sabres want to bounce back from their slow start and break their 13-year playoff drought, they need big players like Thompson to play wonderfully like this.
It will now be fascinating to see how well Thompson builds off his hot stretch of play from here. If he keeps this up, he will have himself a spectacular season.
