Based on today's morning skate, the Sabres will be using some lines different from the ones they used in the last game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Sabres did not make changes to their first line, as it once again was made up of Jason Zucker, Dylan Cozens, and Tage Thompson. However, the second line had a new look, as Ryan McLeod jumped up to the second-line center role, with JJ Peterka and Alex Tuch as his wingers.
The third line was also different at the morning skate, as Kulich was the 3C and had Zach Benson and Peyton Krebs as his wingers. After playing last game on the third line, Jack Quinn was dropped to the fourth line with Sam Lafferty and Nicolas Aube-Kubel.
Some changes were also made to the Sabres' blueline. Owen Power now had Connor Clifton as his partner on the second pairing. In addition, Henri Jokiharju slotted back in the third pairing with Mattias Samuelsson. Dennis Gilbert was also the extra defender.
