According to Foot Mercato, Saïdou Sow (22) is set to join FC Nantes on loan from Strasbourg until the end of the season. The agreement between the two Ligue 1 clubs for the Guinean international defender is a straight 5-month loan until the end of the season with no option to buy.

With an agreement in place, Sow has travelled to Nantes to undergo a medical before an official announcement by Les Canaris confirming the temporary signing of the 22-year-old. The Ligue 1 club have acted swiftly to secure the signing of the defender.

Despite the loan agreement, the Conakry-born centre-back has been a regular feature under former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior this season. Sow has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Racing club and played in 61% of the available minutes this season. However, he will likely see his first-team minutes rise following the move to Nantes.
