RWDM have resigned striker Mickaël Biron just six months after he was loaned to OH Leuven. The striker went goalless during his time with the side and was in truth given very few opportunities to prove himself. He now returns to RWDM, where he has enjoyed himself over the past two seasons. The side from Brussels will hope that he can hit the ground running and give them a big boost in their push to bounce straight back after relegation from the Pro League last season.

Biron joined RWDM in the summer of 2022 and was a key part of their promotion to the Pro League that same season. In 53 games for the side he scored 23 goals, including 16 in the second tier when they got promoted. Despite struggling with injuries last year he still managed to contribute seven goals in 24 games for the side. OH Leuven had hoped he would be the answer to their striking problems, but it was clear that head coach Oscar Garcia did not see Biron as a key player for the side.

RWDM are currently third in the Challenger Pro League, some way off Zulte Waregem in top spot.
