Russell Wilson catches a touchdown pass as Seahawks get tricky

Well, it sure seems like the Seattle Seahawks are having fun.

The Seahawks went deep into their playbook to get Russell Wilson a touchdown catch against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson faked a handoff to Thomas Rawls, started running left and then pitched a reverse to Doug Baldwin. Nobody paid attention to Wilson after that, so when Baldwin slowed up and got set to throw, Wilson was wide open.

Baldwin made a nice pass to Wilson, who got over the goal line for a 15-yard touchdown and a 23-7 Seahawks lead. Baldwin did a cartwheel after throwing the touchdown.

And just to make matters worse for the Eagles, after Wilson caught that 15-yard touchdown he had more receiving yards than any Philadelphia receiver at that point in the game. The Seahawks held on to win, 26-15.

It’s also a good sign that Wilson is healthy again, after dealing with plenty of injuries early in the season. The Seahawks had a lot of reasons to have a good time on Sunday.
