RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars has unveiled a game-changing twist in a first-look trailer.
A sizzle reel for the new season has confirmed that viewers will have an impact on crowning this year's All Stars because now there will be two ways to win a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
As RuPaul explains in the clip, there's the traditional way where the judging panel determine a winner and a Bottom Two each week — and then a Lip Sync determines which queen or queens controls the elimination.
However, for the first time ever, viewers will get a chance to vote on 'a game within a game', where the eliminated queens take part in something called The Fame Games.
Viewers will have to tune in to find out what The Fame Games actually entails, but it's certainly good news for queens who may be eliminated early in the competition.
This latest trailer also confirms a star-studded set of guest judges joining RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ts Madison, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews on the panel.
The star-studded guest judges line-up includes New Girl's Zooey Deschanel, Euphoria's Maude Apatow, Frozen's Idina Menzel, Batwoman's Javicia Leslie, YouTuber Jojo Siwa, SNL's Ego Nwodim, Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean and more.
The cast of returning queens will feature Alexis Michelle (season 9), Darienne Lake (season 6), Heidi N Closet (season 12), Jaymes Mansfield (season 9), Jessica Wild (season 2), Jimbo (Canada's Drag Race season 1 and UK vs the World), Kahanna Montrese (season 11), Kandy Muse (season 13), Kandy Muse (season 13), LaLa Ri (season 13), Monica Beverly Hillz (season 5), Mrs. Kasha Davis (season 7) and Naysha Lopez (season 8).
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8 airs on Paramount+ in the US from May 12, 2023 and WOW Presents Plus in the UK.
