Ruben Amorim in agreement over Manchester United ‘generational talent’; development plan in place
Ruben Amorim has a lot of talented players to work with at Manchester United, but it is understood that he views Leny Yoro as one of the most interesting players to develop.
We can expect more headlines on Amorim’s plans for United in the coming days and weeks now that he is started work as head coach, arriving in Manchester on Monday and deciding that Ruud van Nistelrooy would leave the club.
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Amorim and his staff consider Yoro to be one of the most interesting players to develop for United’s long-term project.
United consider Yoro, who has yet to make a competitive appearance for the club, to be a ‘generational talent’ by the club and Romano claims Amorim fully agrees with that assessment.
Romano adds that Yoro’s full recovery is at its final stages, which means he will be available after the November international break.

Yoro will get the chance to work closely with Amorim over the next two weeks.
Leny Yoro considered a generational talent
United spent big money to sign the French teenager from Lille in the summer.
The Reds beat Real Madrid, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain to his signature in a deal considered a coup within football circles.
Speaking last week about Yoro’s injury, Van Nistelrooy said: “He’s been managed very well after his injury in pre-season. It was obviously going to be a long one.
“Big moment, first time back in team training. He’ll be back partially over the coming weeks, and we’ll look to get him on board as quick as possible.”
It will be a big boost to Amorim as he will have more options in defence.
The new head coach is expected to play with three at the back, which is a system reliant on a speedy centre-back or two. This is where Yoro’s strengths will be of benefit to Amorim’s team.
