Royals third baseman Maikel Garcia trolls Yankees starter after KC’s Game 2 win

Royals third baseman Maikel Garcia struck out Monday to start Game 2 of the American League Division Series at Yankee Stadium. New York starter Carlos Rodón struck out the side in the first inning.

The X account Jomboy showed video of those three outs and the enthusiastic reaction from Rodón.

Turns out, it wasn’t a great night for Rodón, who allowed four runs in 3 2/3 innings pitched as the Royals won 4-2 and evened the series at a game apiece.

Garcia had a big night with four hits and an RBI. After the Royals’ victory, Garcia took to social media and noticed the post from Jomboy.

“Don’t celebrate too early,” Garcia wrote about Rodón and the Royals infielder added a skull emoji to his post directed at the Yankees pitcher.

Garcia later shared this message about his team in this playoff series: “We don’t fear nobody.”
