If Tuesday’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game is anywhere near as exciting as the Home Run Derby, fans will be in for a treat.

The annual Home Run Derby on Monday came down to the very last swing. Alas, Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. came up just a few feet short. Witt lost 14-13 to the Dodgers’ Teoscar Hernandez, but fans were blown away by just how much they had enjoyed watching the competition.

Witt, too, enjoyed the Derby. Afterward, he shared a three-word summation of the night on X.

That was fun!

Fans of the Royals and other teams completely agreed. Many responded to Witt’s message and some shared their appreciation for how well he had done.
