Yahoo Sports Round-up: Olympic qualification still possible for Germany
After the 2-0 victory in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga against SGS Essen, numerous FC Bayern Women players headed off on international duty with their national teams. In addition to the semi-final of the UEFA Women's Nations League, relegation play-offs and friendlies were also scheduled. Check out the results of the matches played at a glance here.
Germany vs. France
The German national team faced France in the semi-final of the UEFA Women's Nations League with Klara Bühl, Giulia Gwinn and Lea Schüller in the starting XII. Sydney Lohmann came off the bench in the second half and Linda Dallmann wasn't used in this match. After trailing 2-0, Gwinn pulled one back with an 82nd minute penalty. Unfortunately, the German team couldn't find an equaliser and had to admit defeat. They now face the Netherlands in the third-place play-off on 28 February. As France automatically qualify as hosts, a win for Germany will ensure qualification for the Olympic Games as the third-placed team in the Nations League.
The Netherlands, with Jill Baijings in the squad,suffered a 3-0 defeat to Spain in their semi-final. The Bayern player didn't feature in the match. The Dutch can also still qualify for Paris if they win the third-place play-off against Germany.

Promotion and relegation battles for Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Serbia
With the group stage of the UEFA Women's Nations League all wrapped up, the play-offs for promotion and relegation in the competition are now taking place. FCB player Linda Sembrant, who came third with Sweden in Group A4 faced Group B4 runners-up, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a place in League A. The Swedes won the first leg 5-0. The second leg will take place on Wednesday 28 February at 18:30 CET.
Tuva Hansen and her Norway teammates are also battling to stay in League A of the Nations League as the third-placed team in Group A2. They won the first leg against Group B2 runners-up Croatia 3-0, with the Bayern player coming off the bench in the 71st minute. The two teams meet again on 27 February at 18:00 CET.
Jovana Damnjanović's Serbia drew 1-1 with Glódís Viggósdóttir's Iceland in the FC Bayern head-to-head. Both were in the starting XI of their national teams. The Serbs came second in Group B3, while the Icelanders finished third in Group A3. The second leg is on Tuesday at 15:30 CET.

Scotland in the Pinater Cup
Sam Kerr is currently taking part in the Pinater Cup with the Scottish national team. The competition in the Spanish city of San Pedro del Pinatar started on Saturday and finishes tomorrow. Scotland won their opener 3-0 against the Philippines and will now face Finland in the final, which takes place tomorrow at 14:05 CET
Bayern encounters in the friendlies
Georgia Stanway played against her FC Bayern teammates Sarah Zadrazil and Katharina Naschenweng when England met Austria in a friendly. All three started the game. England came away with a convincing win, beating the Austrians 7-2.
England's next game is another friendly against Italy, which kicks off at 18:00 CET on Wednesday 28 February. Also on Wednesday, the Austrians will face Pernille Harder's Denmark in their next friendly (kick-off 16:30 CET).

The German youth teams
In the Nations Cup, the German U20 team first faced Spain, with the Reds' Alara Şehitler and Franziska Kett both starting the game. Youth keeper Juliane Schmid wasn't used. While coach Kathrin Peter's team went down to a 3-1 defeat against Spain, they were able to secure a 2-1 win against Mexico three days later. Again, Šehitler and Kett started the game.
FCB Women reserves' Carla Schwarz and Carlotta Schwoerer are on Germany U19s duty and were both involved in the first match. They faced the Netherlands U19s in the Nations Cup and suffered a 3-0 defeat. Next up are Italy on 27 February.
Greta Hünten, Paula Rintzner and Celina Senftl from the FCB U20 squad all received call-ups for the German U17s. The team drew 1-1 with the Switzerland U17s on Saturday, with Hünten and Senftl both starting the game. Their next match is against the Italy U17s on Tuesday at 12:00 CET.
