Rougned Odor gets petty with Marcus Stroman over pitch hesitations

There’s (probably) nothing Rougned Odor loves more than absolutely grinding the gears of Blue Jays personnel and fans, and he seems to have his techniques mastered.

While facing Marcus Stroman and rocking a fierce ninja mask (?) during his first at-bat of Saturday’s game, Odor was clearly unimpressed with Stroman’s delivery pauses. His response? Taking a pitch while sticking his right leg across home plate as the Blue Jays’ hurler was throwing.

Followed by an all-encompassing nut-grab, of course.

The troll game is strong in Odor, but Stroman is no angel himself. He’s taken plenty of heat for several dramatic Twitter rants, some of his animated post-strikeout celebrations on the mound, and even for his delivery—which features a random mid-pitch pause from time to time.

Odor, on the other hand, sucker-punched future mayor of Toronto Jose Bautista right in the melon once, so there’s that.

Blue Jays fans love to hate on the Rangers infielder, for obvious reasons, but this was simply an epic clash between two of Major League Baseball’s titans of pettiness in Stroman and Odor.
