Daniele De Rossi has made it a point to improve Roma’s physical conditioning ahead of the start of the new season.

The Roma boss has been very strict in his training methods in Roma’s preseason so far.

Together with his staff, De Rossi drew up a grueling training schedule based on the methods of Antonio Conte during De Rossi’s days with the national team in 2016.

This explains the 14 double sessions carried out in Trigoria in just 22 days of preparation, led coincidentally by the former Italian professional Giovanni Brignardello.

However, this week a lowering of the fatigue level is expected, to avoid the risk of overload and muscle soreness, reports Corriere dello Sport.
