De Rossi’s disqualification for Udinese match confirmed

The Serie A Sporting Judge has released his verdict on the episode involving Daniele De Rossi’s red card vs Genoa.

The Roma boss was shown a yellow card twice as Roma struggled to maintain a one-goal lead over Genoa, and conceded an equalizer at the death.

De Rossi’s red card was reviewed by the Sporting Judge who confirmed the original decision.

As a result, De Rossi will be disqualified for one Serie A matchday, thus ruling him out for the upcoming match against Udinese.
