Ross signs one-year extension at Rangers

Jane Ross says she is "over the moon" after the Scotland international signed a one-year contract extension at Rangers.

The striker returned from a 16-month injury lay-off in December last year to contribute towards Jo Potter's side Scottish Cup triumph, as well as their ultimately unsuccessful title tilt.

Having joined the club in 2021, the 34-year-old lifted the club's first ever SWPL title in 2022 before suffering a serious knee injury.

With over 150 caps for her country, Ross brings a wealth of experience that she hopes will benefit Rangers in the new season.

"I am over the moon, I am delighted to be extending my stay here at the club," she said.

"I am really happy here, obviously it has been a challenging couple of years for me personally through injury.

"I was happy to get back on the pitch last season and contribute to the team and I am looking forward to getting a good pre-season under my belt this year and hopefully help again this season."
