Ronaldo starts! Portugal and Slovenia name teams for EURO 2024 last 16

Roberto Martinez has kept faith with Cristiano Ronaldo against Slovenia, despite the veteran having yet to find the net at EURO 2024.

Portugal finished top of their group after just two games, meaning that they fielded a much-changed side for their third, which saw them lose 2-0 to minnows Georgia.

Now, they are back to full strength, with the ex-Everton and Belgium boss reverting back to the side that thrashed Turkiye.

Meanwhile, Slovenia are looking for their first win of the tournament after drawing all three of their group games and scoring just two goals. They make just one change, with Erik Janza dropping out through suspension and being replaced by Jure Balkovic.
