Romano: Key midfielder ‘happy at Milan’ and ‘prepared to advance’ renewal talks

Tijjani Reijnders is in talks with AC Milan over a new contract and seems happy to extend, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

To say that Reijnders arrives as a bit of an unknown quantity to many in the summer of 2023 from AZ Alkmaar, it has been a remarkable rise to becoming an immovable starter in the team.

As he continues to perform at a high level, links with elite clubs in Europe are growing. Alessandro Jacobone recently reported that contract talks took place a few days after the second visit of scouts from Manchester City to San Siro.

He added that Real Madrid are also seriously considering the player, convinced by his recent performance at the Santiago Bernabeu in which he was the creative heart of Paulo Fonseca’s team, scoring the third goal too.
